As part of the Endocrine Surgery Association Thyroid School, we held an event last weekend at the Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine in Sivas where we shared information on current approaches to hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer using patient examples. We also discussed continuous vagus monitoring in thyroid surgery and the contributions of monitoring to thyroid surgery via live surgery broadcast. The meeting, in which participants actively contributed, was also very productive for us. We would like to thank all participants and the academic staff of the Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine in Sivas for their hospitality and contributions.
