Right to Become a Member of the Association:
Any physician who is authorized to practice medicine in the Republic of Turkey and who meets the legal conditions, and who is not subject to any prohibition decision according to the relevant articles of the Associations Law No. 5253, can be accepted as a member of this association. Local and foreign physicians who are interested in the association and individuals who make significant material and moral contributions can be accepted as honorary members by the decision of the Board of Directors.
 
Members' Rights:
No one can be forced to become a member of the association, each member has the right to resign at any time. Association members have equal rights. Each member has one vote in the general assembly. Members must vote in person. They cannot vote through another member. Honorary members do not have the right to vote.
 
Member Registration and Acceptance Procedure:
Those who want to become members of the association must obtain the membership registration form from the association center, complete it with the introduction of at least two registered members, sign it, and apply to the board of directors with their 2 photographs.
 
The board of directors will conduct the necessary examination and research on the relevant person and will make a decision to accept or reject the membership within 30 days at the latest from the application date and will inform the situation in writing with interest. The board of directors is not obliged to explain the reason for the rejection decision.
 
Other members have the right to object and complain to the general assembly against the acceptance decision of the board of directors, and the person concerned has the right to object and complain to the general assembly against the rejection decision, the general assembly decision is final. The membership of the applicant who is accepted to membership is determined by being registered in the association member registry. He/she is given a certified or photo ID card.
Resignation from Membership:
Each member has the right to resign from the association, provided that he/she notifies in writing. The resignation process is considered to be completed when the member's resignation letter reaches the board of directors. Resignation from membership does not terminate the member's debts to the association.
 
Removal from Membership:
When one of the rights listed in the relevant article of the Associations Law No. 5253 arises, when any of the conditions sought for admission to association membership are subsequently lost, when it is understood that the member has participated in or played a role in encouraging any of the activities listed in the relevant prohibited article of the Associations Law, or when it is connected to prohibited activities listed in the law, when members whose attitudes and behaviors are contrary to the association's statute, purposes and interests are observed, are removed from membership by the board of directors after the necessary investigation and inquiry of the board. Those who are removed from membership may object to the chairmanship of the general assembly at the first general assembly meeting; The situation discussed in the general assembly is decided. The decision of the general assembly is final. Members who are expelled or leave membership return the ID card given to them and their names are deleted from the member registry.
