The 7th Endocrine Surgery Association Thyroid School Education Meeting was held at Denizli State Hospital. The panels at the meeting discussed the approach to thyroid nodules, evaluation of fine needle aspiration biopsy, thyroidectomy indications and principles of safe thyroidectomy, and the use of nerve monitoring to reduce the risk of nerve injury during thyroidectomy. During the meeting, thyroidectomy surgery was broadcast live and the principles of safe dissection and nerve monitoring were shared interactively with the meeting hall. Prof. Dr. Tarik Terzioğlu, Prof. Dr. Yasemin Giles, Prof. Dr. Gökhan İçöz, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hacıyanlı, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Tunca and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özer Makay attended the meeting as educators. The meeting, which attracted a wide participation, was hosted by Denizli State Hospital, where the hospital administrator Op.
